How to draw or write text on a tree stem or tree bark

In this photoshop tutorial I have used technique on how to use photoshop tools to draw or write text on a tree stem or tree bark.Adobe photoshop text effect tree bark , brown tree stem





[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels 300 pixels of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Then go to Filter>Render>Clouds.

[3] Then take the Text tool and create the text.

  [4] Make the copy of layer text tree.

[5] Merge the first text layer with the
background layer see in the next image.

  [6] And then hide the top
text layer (Text Tree Copy).

[7] Then go to Filter>Render>Lighting Effects
apply the following settings.

[8] Your image should be look like this.

[9] Now press Cntl+F to reapply
the lighting effect. I did it 5 times.

[10] Now show/enable the top layer.

[11] Set the Blending mode of the top layer
"Overlay" and opacity to 50%.

[12] Your image should be look like this.

[13] Now the finally step here press Cntl+U
use the following settings.

[15] Your final image should be look like this.
