How to Create End of The World

                     

Today i would like to share how to create end of the world using photoshop. In this tutorial we use fantastic method to create this effect. So, why not have a try...

                  
                          
The first, you create a new document with background color #000000. Open an Earth picture and drag it into the new document.

Using pentool to make a selection like this:


Right Click on that selection -> make selection. Then press Delete.


Create a new layer under layer Earth


Open this picture:


Use pentool to make the selection around cigarette ash part


Right click to that selection. Use Move tool to move it into your document like this:


Duplicate this layer 3, 4 times and arrange them like this (edit shape and size to make it be plentiful)


Select all layers cigarette ash


Press Ctrl + E to merge them together


Duplicate this layer, you will get a its layer copy, move this layer copy to the top:


Resize it like this:


Continue to duplicate this layer 3 or 4 times then arrange them like this


Create a new layer and put it close to layer Earth


Select Brush tool (opacity 50%), fill this area until you get a result like this:


Create a new layer and set on top and repeat above step


Open this picture:


Use Move tool to move this layer to your document.

Use Eraser Tool to clear around the fire like this:


Press Ctrl +T to edit and move it to this area


Change its blend mode to Overlay, you'll get this:


Duplicate this layer fire:


Continue to repeat above steps to make more red spots as the picture below:


Select Eraser Tool with this brush then erase these areas to look clearly


At this state, the result will look like this


Now we are going to make meteorites

Put layer cigarette ash here:



Put layer fire over cigarette ash like this:


Change blend mode to Overlay.


Duplicate this layer fire, you'll get this


Create a new layer. Use soft brush (opacity 100%, color white) and apply it to the meteorite like this:


Select Smudge Tool.


Drag white dots to get a result as the picture below:


Adjust the color:


You can make more meteorites with different position and add more details that you like to make your artwork looks better

About the background, you can easily finish it by using some galaxy brushes.
