Create a smoldering candle animation effect

 

In this photoshop tutorial I have used techniques - how to use photoshop tools to create an animation of a smoldering candle.Candle and smoke animation – free tutorial lesson – photoshop skill 

[1]- First of all open a new document size 400x400 pixel
96 resolution, RGBcolor mode,

[2]- Now create a new Layer1 from
the Layer palette as shown below

[3]- Now select the Linear Gradient tool
As shown below and choose the color
Gray and white

 

[4]- Fill the color help by
the Gradient tool .Now
press the Ctrl+D to deselect

[5]- Now create a new shape help by the Pen tool
after that fill the color with Gradient tool. Now
select the Brush tool now select the Black color
and Red color in the Forground color and
Background color from the Tool bar .
Now create a new shape , look below

 

[6]- Now create a new Layer2
from the Layer palette

[7]- Now create a new shape
help by the Brush tool.

[8]- Now double click on this layer2
and select the Pattern Overlay from
the Layer Style and use the following settings

[9]- Reduce Opacity 50%
to the Layer2

[10]- Your image should look like this

[11]- Now click on this icon
Edit in ImageReady from the
Tool bar. As shown below

[12]- Animation Window should look like this

[13]- Now click on icon to the Duplicate
Current Frame , as shown below
by the hand sign

[14]- Now double click on the layer2 and select
the Pattern Overlay now use the following settings

[15]- Now select the Frame1 and now
click on this icon TWEEN as shown below

[16]- Now use following settings
from the Tween as shown below

[17]- Your animated Candle
has been completed .
Now go to Filter>Save Optimized
